Funny thing is he says "it's around 30 SPF" what does it mean "around", is it like my mother says that we will be late because it's already 1 pm when clock says it's 11:30?

Oh, sure, he's so likely to use that SPF stick too considering it's literally a thick, crumbly layer of white.

You cannot even make a diy body butter with shimmer and micas that disbursed evenly in the formula, let alone something that need a homogenizer, stabilizers, and lab results to test its efficacy
I swear people think they read a cooking recipe and think they can be chemist

Have you seen the ad on normal Aussie TV from the mine company. They are promoting how they are helping with sun safety by mining the zinc we need for sunscreen. Mining isn't necessarily bad but it isn't great for the environment either. Guess ppl somehow forgett where minerals come from 🤷🏼‍♀️

The texture of it on his skin made me shudder.

I have to use Zinc Oxide sunscreens as my skin has severe negative reactions to chemicals. I wish it wasn’t so bad for the ocean life though 😢

I use physical sunscreens that contain zinc oxide or titanium dioxide because i find that they don’t break me out. What exactly is a non-nano zinc oxide?

Is there an actual SPF that’s safe for the ocean if you chose to go swim in it?

Sunscreen is expensive in many places around the world. You are a chemist, cant you show people the best way to diy something thats better than nothing?
