I had that. I am doing you all an enour.ous favor right now. Drill out the rivets in the iRig2 and jam that suckered into your guitars electronic cavity. It is my own idea to fix having all of this separated equipment when it could eliminate the time between inspiration and creation. I also screwed a gooseneck phone holder onto the guitars bottom so it would point up at me while I played through garage band and it really was a dream but then all of my electronics started acting up, passwords wouldn't work and so on. So I'd like a software in a hardware that is dedicated to push button on off operation without waiting for user login. That sucked. So many songs lost due to getting frustrated with other crap.

I figure you have a guitar, guitar chord, an android or iPhone, and finally the irig2. So is there any adapters needed here. If I have all the above I mentioned, and I buy the Irig2. Does the Irig2 come with the USB connector. Just about every video does not mention if the Irig2 comes with the USB connector or do you buy it separately.

I wish to use it for just general practice with my AirPods and like to play over backing tracks. Can I play a song in the background, say from my iTunes folder on my iphone, whilst using the iRig so I can play/solo over it?
