Hello mam,
In my school they have completed statistics after linear equations in two variables, but in byjus u are going in chapterwise order.. so how can I manage both? Please

HW:
Gn: Sn=120, a=3, d=a2-a1=5-3=2
To find :- n =?
By using Sn formula
Sn=n/2[2a+(n-1)d]
120 = n/2[2×3+(n-1)2]
240= n[6+2n-2]
240=n[4+2n]
240 = 4n +2n²
Divide by 2, n²+2n -120=0
Therefore n²+ 12n-10n -120=0
=> n(12+n)-10(n+12)=0
On simplifying we get n=10 or -12
n can't be negative so number of terms in the sequence that added upto 120 is 10 :)❤

n=-12 is neglected
Therefore n=10
