SNAP Banned? Or Collateral Damage?? What Should Happen in the Future to Prevent This Happening Again

Marvel SNAP was unavailable to the USA for some time. As of posting this, it is still unavailable. This occured when Bytedance, parent company of Nuverse, took down their servers in response to the US Government banning TikTok and Bytedance apps on January 19th.

Everyone, including Second Dinner, thought just TikTok would go down. Marvel SNAP going down too was not expected and took many by surprise.

What will happen next? What steps can be done to prevent this from happening again?

Should I start a GoFundMe to buy Second Dinner? I'm short about $500 million dollars.

Honestly, this couldn't have happened at a worse time for the game. Popularity st an all-time low, review bombing, people leaving the game, and now this. I'm worried the game might not be able to recover from this.

Yeah, they didn’t compensate me for not being able to play. I mean yes I used a vpn but shouldn’t i have gotten compensated for the issue and everything?

It 100% did not blindside them. Their legal team is paid to navigate these issues. 0 chance this was unforseen.

My issue now is being unclear whether players not using vpn will be compensated for missing moonstone or not having time to get her and get the credits …

Like I may sign in and pull for her today before it’s too late but also had wondered what SD’s response would be for those affected….trust isn’t running high they’ll take care of affected people properly though.
