Nobody here giving respect to Samurai Jack vs. Afro Samurai. The animation, the music, the voice work were all amazingly done. One of my favorite battles that I keep going back to and love to show my friends who have never seen it.

My favorite gotta be Godzilla vs Gamera, as I am a big Kaiju fan, and it was the one to introduced me not only to Death Battle but Gamera himself. Honestly, though I feel a remake is required for that one or a return of those two because if you really wanna make composite versions of those characters and then have them fight it would be way more of a stomp than they actually said. Still love it.

TJ Combo Vs Balrog is one of my favorites not only cause both characters are boxers and therefore we got to see a lovely choreographed match, but also seeing how the two of them fight as well as what happened in their lives up to that point.

Honestly my favorite is really hard to choose but one of my top favorites is definitely TJ combo vs Balrog. It has some really good fight choreography, a great comeback at the end, and is one of the closest battles in the series history. It's not perfect and does have some issues specifically with Balrog. His model looking very different compared to TJ and Balrog's cloak having some clipping but those are just some nitpicks and overall it's a great episode.
