Let's take a look at around 25 mods, which all help turn Minecraft into a Zombie Apocalypse. Not all of these mods are about Zombies, as some help to make the world feel more apocalyptic, add new survival mechanics, or just some interesting things to do as you try to survive. This video is themed around Forge 1.18.2, as it's a pretty good version to be on right now.

Try the "Bad to the bones" mod for Forge. It causes effects to the player if they mine too much, carry too much, and even have blurry vision when mining for too long. All in all it causes the player to feel tired or dizzy doing the same things too long.

Thanks for making a mod list which revolves around at least a single game version. Usually mod videos throw a random list of mods which might not even be compatible to the most common version.

Other mods that would be nice to add in are Ambience Sounds, Sound Physics for enhanced immersion, Move Plus to allow players to climb by using control, leap and dodge sideways and Traveler's Backpack to assist long distance venturing

You should try "Enhanced Visuals" mod for Forge. If u got damaged, Blood will appear on your screen If you are on low health your heartrate will be beating so fast, It's very cool to use on zombie apocalypse.

Great list! I personally leave out epic siege as I don't feel like configuring it and without configuring, the zombies are too powerful.

With that said, there's a few 1.18.2 mods you can add to this list:

Additional Guns - Additional Guns is a mod that requires Mr. Crayfish's gun mod. It adds dozens of new guns and more attachments.

Security Craft - Much like Minetraps, Security Craft adds additional items to secure your base. Granted some, but not all, of the items are more useful against players. But I'd recommend this mod in both a PVP and PVE environment.

Enhanced Visuals - Enhanced Visuals adds effects to your screen like blood, dirt, sand, frost, and more. It mostly deals with immersion, but it adds no real lag to your game and can help you feel like you're in a zombie apocalypse.

Advanced Hook Launchers - Advanced Hook Launchers adds new ways to adventure with grappling hooks and other gadgets. Useful when paired with a mod like Lost Cities.

Comforts - Comforts adds some camping utilities such as tents and sleeping bags. Neither of witch change your spawn point while allowing you to sleep. Giving you more flexibility when mining, looting, or exploring. Given that the zombies are utterly terrifying at night.

Yung's Bridges - This mod adds randomly generating, usually destroyed, bridges. It could help make your world feel like society has collapsed and these roads/bridges are no longer being maintained.

Traveler's Backpack - Traveler's backpack is a useful backpack mod that basically adds swiss army backpacks. The cool thing is that you have to craft attachments separate, so you aren't given an op survival backpack right away.

Farmer's Delight - Farmer's Delight and it's various submods and unofficial add-ons add new crops and farming mechanics. Now you can grow plants like tomatoes, as well as craft new culinary dishes with them. It adds a touch of modernization to the foods and farming.

Tough as Nails - Tough as Nails adds thirst and body temperature bars to manage. It makes the whole thing a bit harder and more realistic. Additionally, it pairs well with the enhanced visuals and first aid mods, as well as the survival-horror zombie theme.

Project: Vibrant Journeys - This mod adds more flavor to forests, lakes, rivers etc. Without adding mobs or much bloat.

Sound Physics Remastered - Sound Physics Remastered adds reverb to caves and buildings. Now your zombies can sound even more horrifying.

Presence Footsteps - Presence Footsteps enhances the sounds of footsteps; useful with Dynamic Surroundings not in 1.18.2. Both the player and the zombies will have more impactful and realistic footsteps, which works great with the Sound Physics Remastered mod and the overall apocalyptic feel.

Ultimate Car Mod - The Ultimate Car Mod adds complicated and advanced car construction. It's hard enough that it's mid-late game, but definitely fits within the modern Zombie apocalypse feel.

Small Ships - Small Ships adds small-medium size ships. Some ships can be built with working gunpowder cannons. I can easily see survivors building both the ships and the cannons in a Zombie apocalypse. Do note that the 1.18.2 version was still the alpha version of the mod.

Here is finally a good thorough mods list. THANK YOU. All the ones I have seen always show so little mods, usually showing only one or two, and then a bunch of mods to just change how the game looks

Very nice video i was searching for mods that makes minecraft more scary with the knocker, sirenhead and goatman mod but i wanted to have a high density of zombie without infection etc just a lot of them, and your video gave even more idea, great job
