The story of the Kursk, the Russian Nuclear Submarine that disappeared on August 12, 2000, during a military exercise.

After Russian Rescuers were unable to reach the possible survivors of the Kursk submarine with their defective equipment, Norwegian and British rescuers headed for the wreck site. Meanwhile, Russian President Putin was struggling to deal with the political fall-out of the disaster.
