OpenAI Finally announced that GPT-4 is here and that we can use it right now. In this video, I break down the announcement as well as what it can do right now, what it will be able to do in the future, and even spend some time testing it out myself.

Excellent video. I have been using and loving ChatGPT for three months or so and tried GPT-4 last night because I have the plus version. I had one situation where it seemed to break in the middle of something and I had to ask it to complete its thought. It apologized and finished what it was saying. I guess that may be a capacity issue. I am totally blind from birth and one of the things I love doing with AI is having it describe things for me. As a kid, right after Sesame Street on PBS, there was this synth logo tune that would creep me out so much. Sighted people tell me the logo is also creepy visually, but I never knew why until I asked GPT. It gave me a detailed explanation and now I have an understanding of the logo and what makes it creepy visually. This system is going to take a lot of peoples jobs away, but I have found it so fun and useful for me as a blind person in how it describes things and interacts with me.

I couldn't understand and am still shocked how FEW people there are talking about the announcement from Google and it just goes to show the crazy speed of the generative AI space right now 🤯 that in and of itself could be its own video along with the dozens of other AI implications!

If you notice 3.5 actually did not use inline css but internal css and gpt4 precisely used inline css as instructed in prompt

I actually used ChatGPT 4 today, and I must say, they made a significant improvement . The main improvement is the quality of the output. The responses are clearer and more concise, and it can handle more complex questions with larger prompts. The text-to-image translation feature is also impressive, and I can envision it being used to solve crime cases. I graded an essay with GPT-4 and used Grammarly; the score was 99. In contrast, ChatGPT 3.5 consistently scored an 85. (EDIT: SPELL CORRECTED WITH CHAT GPT😅)

The reason why the gpt 4’s html was longer is because it was more accurate. Inline styles means it adds the styles to the html tag itself while the got 3.5 was adding it to the head in other words embedded styles. A lot of people gets confused with these terms 😅

The part where you had it modify the code to reveal the jokes dynamically was mind-blowing. 🤯 It's astonishing that this is all possible through something that is, at bottom, just a sophisticated autocomplete library. I have trouble wrapping my mind around that.

I'm not sure if you know or not, you probably do but just in case for others. After you tell chat gpt to generate the HTML code, tell it to show you the entire HTML code easier for you to copy. It'll put all the code in a command prompt looking box with a button at the tope that says copy code. It will still separate it if it reaches a certain amount but it makes it easier to copy.

If you're asking chat gpt to write you a code/script. Always ask it to put it in a codebox and style it for easy reading. Sometimes it forgets to ''' if you don't tell it to.

I was playing with bings AI yesterday and it cut some of my code off, I told the AI that the code was cut off and it glitched and then fixed it. What a time to be alive

Love your videos! Understand why you had to make it. 👍
But basically, it's 'out' because the announcement had to be rushed to compete.
Having said that, the features seem pretty crazy. And with the pace at which AI is evolving, I'm pretty sure the independent smaller businesses will find ways to up their game pretty quickly.

Bottom line: Cooler and more productive AI tools for us!

It's very interesting to discuss philosophy with an AI. I think psychologists can learn something by seeing the capabilities and deficiencies of this "mind" and compare that with what it actually does and what's missing in terms of sapience and sentience. Oh, and it's a great Star Trek fan... I think you'll find to be a fan of whatever you start asking about.
