as someone who has been pulled out of bed while being awake vigorously with grip marks around my Ankle, I 100% agree that either residual energy, "I don't call them ghosts" were reaching out for help, or current from the ocean floor still rocking the bowels of the ship.

Or... could have been created to provide hope as most would like time for a loved one to go peacefully, which Suffocation is not peaceful. Imploding into liquid sounds terribly violent and painful, but with how fast it happens, none of those signals reached the brain in time to endure any pain.

Wow! That's both interesting and horrifying at the same time. As for the ghosts banging on stuff underwater, not sure that has to be the only explanation... and yes, I do believe in paranormal. I've witnessed a shadow man wearing a bowler hat as a shadow on the wall, walk 4 feet in front of me as it rounded around the corner inside a well-lit restaurant, and I've had many experiences.

And I'll offer a couple of alternative possibility that maybe not all ghosts are mad we're in their space, maybe they are trapped here and want to pass thru the light, and are asking us for help... or another possibility is that they like to haunt and doing it for fun or want to stir up our fear so it feeds them energy in some way.

So what if the poor souls on the Titanic, that are spirits down there want us to free them? How would they get our attention, and secondly, how to you do a ritual that deep down? I'm not a practitioner of such things, but if that is the case, then the tragedy is even far worse for them as they are still trapped.
