Humanity right after the first contact: I've just met blorbo for a day but if anything happened to him I would kill everyone in the universe and myself.

Please give credit to real author of this story, Robert Butler. That's least you can do.

Great story. A different one compared to other writers. The author pointed out the many positive things of humans. It also pointed out how protective we can be and our willingness to sacrifice all for another. Looking forward to another chapter.

This is a story that's been around for a while called "adopted by humans" written by Robert Butler. For some reason, I can't find where he has been

This ends on a note suggesting the story will continue - I sincerely hope so! It's well-written and the narration matches.

That's an interesting question and statement. We can be family with friends with strangers that become close friends, our pets, plants.. it's funny how attached we become.

Really liked the little nod to Carl Sagan near the end "a mote of dust suspended in a sun beam" ❤

Please keep the dog alien away from the internet or he might end up extremely bonded to a human. 😅

Sound doesn't travel in the void of space so the music should actually a jamming system used to interfere with enemy communications. Trying to understand anything over the sound of death metal is nearly impossible.

The title is a little misleading, I thought it would be about some orphaned alien adopted by a human family instead it ends up being about a class research project

Glad I’m not the only one who has trouble telling humans apart.

Very entertaining to say the least. Reminds me of the hours I spent reading all those Sci-Fi short story paperbacks back in the day. I always found something mindful, disturbing, and even thoughtful in those books. Many stories would leave you hanging like this one did. But, there was never a dull moment while reading.
