So today we have another review, and this one is something quite interesting, we have a BMW M2 Competition, now this is interesting as I used to hate German cars, until I drove the E46 M3 and then the E92 M3.. now times have change since then and cars have become way less characteristic now; so lets put that to the test.. does the new BMW M2 have any character?

The M1 and M2 are memory buttons Lee and can be configured to how you want them that’s why when you turned traction off it chucked you out of the Memory mode because you manually altered things

You can enter manual mode in any of the MDM, Sport and Sport+ mode by pulling the gear selector to the right twice. First will put you in D1, second will put you in 1. Another great review man

I genuinely don't understand you're comment 'most BMW's you get in, just feel front heavy' ?
I have owned 5 BMW's in my last 6 cars, and not one of them has felt front heavy.

Strangely, the first thing I noticed coming from a 240i was the front end weight. You got to respect this little pocket rocket.

I’ve had fast cars for most of my life & my current M2C scares the shite out of me. It makes you work for your fun & is very very twitchy, I’ve lost it already

The power loss from top end is where BMW has restricted the S55 in the M2 over the one in the M3/M4. It basically loses 40bhp from 5500 rpm.
A remap sorts this out.

The m1 and m2 modes are just preset options, you can customise them as you want, they are really just for handiness. The fact it says “m1” or “m2” doesn’t make a difference

2023 M2 will be epic. Don't have to worry about crank hub issue either
