Here's a new trick for you to try on the FabFilter Pro L2 👇🏻

➡️ Click on the advanced tab and select oversampling to 16x

➡️ Then go to the channel linking ad turn them down to 0

This means the left & right are now decoupled (working separately)

Giving you a louder and more open sounding track

Streaky, not only are your shorts, immensely informative, but the editing is just super slick. Perfect timing with the emojis and the sound effects. Whoever is doing them, whether it’s you, or someone that you’re paying, mad props.

Your tips are fantastic! Your Deep Dive Mixing Course is a great source of information and technique. Thank you Professor!

Tip: if your L2 (from the other brand) doesn't have that function, open up 2 instances of L2 and connect them to each channel separately. Job done

Would love to see you do a series where you master the same song but with a different limiter every time. Plugin Alliance, Waves, etc.

Whilst oversampling results in less aliasing, especially when pushed, it takes away punch...feels like a True Peak limitng sound...just takes off too much life. When there's no oversampling Pro L2 feels much punchier, but also sounds more "grainy". All about compromises

Unlinking channels is hella dumb idea, when you do that you can always be guaranteed to have artefacts on SIDES, limiter should always be with linked channels..

Didn't you call me deluded, for working in the 8x range? Typical.
