Let’s go off on our travels round the galaxy again, and this time we’re going a little further afield than of late, and we’re going to visit a planet that whilst not being Earth’s twin, certainly may be Earth’s sort of cousin. We’re going to pay a visit to Kepler 452. Let’s find out more.

Kepler 452b has a radius considerably larger than the earth, about 1.5 times the radius of our home world, and has roughly 5 times its mass. Due to the similar distance in orbit that it has to the earth, it has an equilibrium temperature just slightly higher than here on earth.

When I heard that, for some reason I remembered about Goku traveling to Namek, and doing that gravity training aboard the ship, and how hard it looked for him to do it... and now hearing this, makes me think that I haven't actually thought through how hard it would be to train at more than normal gravity, it's not just about feeling like every part of your body is heavier, didn't consider that also the heart for example needs to pump your blood with even more force if you wanna get oxygen to your brain, for example... probably the list could go on... idk why I was thinking that, lol, but I guess it can be fun to speculate on silly things like this sometimes.

Small correction about Venus. Do to Venus tempature being relatively stable, Venus is no longer under the effect of a runaway greenhouse effect. It is likely that, at some point, Venus experience a greenhouse effect, but not recently. This is important sense moving Venus with say Mars would cause the planet to cool down slowly (and it would take a long time most likely), where if Venus was experiencing a greenhouse effect, switching it place with Mars, it would either slow down heating, stabilize at the current temperature, or cool down. Small but important difference.

I'm sad I won't be able to visit Kepler-452 b within my lifetime honestly.

It was discovered 6-7 years ago, in July 2015. I really wonder what the Kepler 10 system would look like in this app your using to be honest.

Still you will not believe in Allah supreme creator of heavens and earth and all between them.
O man what has seduced thee from thy Lord Most Beneficent.
