Gotta admit the game isnt lying where it is expensive to go on a crusade, cost me nearly 2000 gold... (expensive ships), thought it was worth it as i claimed the kingdom of Jerusalem, hopefully it will tax nicely :).

The kings reaction in this game was pretty much the same as mine in my first playthrough when I volunteered to go on the Crusade to Jerusalem, lost half my army before I even got to the city, lost the other half to the doomstacks, then lost my duchy to rebels that took over while my army was gone.

Not to mention that in the third Crusade the Holy Roman Emperor drowned because his armour held him down whilst crossing a river. That still bugs me. He had a HUGE army and they all marched back in despair.
