I am A Ford Tech in Cambodia. This truck is 79, 900 USD in my dealer. The one we sell is made in Thailand it has a bit less HP, comes with BFGoodrich k02, we have different rims. But by far a pickup truck this size is hard to find something as good out the door without any mods done to it.

The problems I meet are t
he Stereo SYNC Display blackout or flicker.
VCT Rattle.
Exhaust Actuator Failure which results in not being able to change modes.
The driver switch getting stuck left/right.
Injector failures.
EBB Ticking noise.

but this doesn't happen often Its pretty tough in my opinion.

I just did a PDI on one too. Take a look at where they put the rear suspension sensor. Rock or log is going to break that off in no time

I'm a Ford tech, and I would never buy one of our vehicles. That wasn't always the case, but it is now. In my opinion, the only truck that makes any kind of sense, is the base model F250 with the gas engine. A base model in 2024 is fairly well equipped. You get things like ac and power windows, but its not a rolling computer network like an F150. And they're a lot less money.

I looked a Ranger while at the Dealer the other day. The bed is tiny. In comparison to my F150. Downsizing isn’t and option.

Hey I have a 2011 F-150 with 152k miles on it I replaced the spark plugs not too long ago cause I felt a rough idle but had no CEL I used OEM plugs and the coils were totally fine and it still felt the same yesterday my engine light came on with the notorious code P0308 cylinder 8 misfire I ran a compression test and it's at 90 while the other cylinders are at normal spec so I know I have the valve issue do you have a rough estimate on the cost of that job or is it worth it throwing in a remanufactured FORD crate engine? Thank you for your help.
