My brother and I made it back from Vietnam mostly in one piece thankfully. Watching this I cannot imagine in my wildest thoughts what my wife would have gone through had I not made it back alive. Makes my heart very sad for these Heroes, and their families, no matter where their situation took them. Welcome home Heroes.

My father who was 82nd Airborne in Korea recently passed away. The Patriot Guard not only escorted his body from Ontario California to Riverside National Cemetery but they contacted Ontario PD and CHP for a dignified procession .It was beautiful. 🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲

I was on a flight home from vacation. While on funal taxi to gate the capt came over intercom to ask people to remain seated till a fallen soldier on board could be taken off first. Unfortunately there where MANY ungrateful people on that flight that couldn't remain seated and pay the respect warranted for someone who gave their life to protect our freedoms. Yes i did speak up and ask people to sit. Got to watch out my window with my young son as he was taken off the plane. Not knowing the soldier or that theybwhere even on the flight. I must say it is very emotional to watch that. THANK YOU to all who serve in the military to protect our freedom 🙏

My brother passed away in late March of this year. He was a Retired Chief Petty Officer. The flag as always was presented to his wife but another flag was also presented to his daughter (my niece). I believe presenting my niece with a flag was what he wanted because of their closeness.
