I have just learned this piece, so some advice: 1 the middle section is actually the hardest of the piece imo: making a good sound is very tough. 2 you'll need to practice the più mosso section with different rhythms to get it right. 3 relax while playing and forget that your problems exists, otherwise you'll get tendinitis ( I almost got it for this piece, note that I am currently playing his study op 10 no 5 and I got more cramps from this waltz than from the study) 4 did I mention relax? 5 have fun, overall is tricky to get right but a real satisfaction to play ( bonus: try and invent some parts, don't follow the sheet music, put something of yourself into it) Good luck!❤

A good portion of Chopin's music is fairly depressive. And if you're wondering why, it's because his life was fairly depressing to begin with.
But the fact that the pieces he composed are depressive only gives them a special flavour, a little something to remember him by.
Thank you for this.
