After 7 and a half years at Wains Transport I hand my notice in just before I head out on a trip up north. What should be an easy trip turns in to major hold ups and I wonder if it was was worth running on a Sunday at one point 🤯

Hope you enjoy the video☺️

Over the last few days I have watched a load of your videos. As a retired traffic cop I just wanted to say how impressed I am with your professionalism 🫡. Keep up the good work. Your channel highlights everything that is good about the drivers here in the UK and our haulage industry. All the best for your next job.

Good luck, whatever and wherever your new venture takes you. Hopefully it’s trucking and the vlogs continue. Once again, best of luck.

You cannot keep a secret from workmates, even as a trucker! Congratulations on taking the plunge Jemma and best of luck with your future. I am sure it will get better for you. Your vlogs have been an insight to the life of a female trucker and are much appreciated by many.

Jemma. You have been an inspiration to everybody on how to do things properly and correct. I am also a bulk truck driver in New Zealand. Good luck on whatever you do and look forward to seeing what happens in the future.

Very nice video edit. that touch of the map on 13:13 that follow to a self-moving camera right after on 13:23 shows how skilled you are as a YT videomaker, as well. We can't stop learning from you. Legend!

Hi Jemma sorry that you are leaving, your videos have taught me a lot about this job and it’s hard! Dealing with the traffic, the paperwork and the rules on driving hours etc, not to mention the days away from home would drive me crazy. You are so hardworking and conscientious any future employer will be lucky to have you. All the best in your new venture. Whatever it is you will smash it 😀

Good Morning Jemma As you say you know when the time is right to head for pastures new. Been there done that and even ended back where I started before I retired some years after a complete career change from the Transport Industry. My experience there greatly helped me with the job that I retired from.Kind Regards Crawford

Hi Jemma, this news is like a bolt out of the blue. I certainly didn't see it coming as I've been following your channel for quite a while now.
My first thought was It's not April 1st is it ?
You've shown us all the ups and downs and ins and outs in the daily life of an HGV driver and bèen entertaining and educational at the same time.
Both myself and my wife enjoyed watching every new episode as we love your part of the world and love saying we've been on that road.
We both wish you well and good luck for the future and whatever it brings for you.

We had the same problem. We fixed it by laying some chicken wire over the flower bed 50mm above the level of the soil. The cats can't sit on it and flowers will grow through it.

All the best in your new job Jemma, whatever your doing. Hopefully another hgv job that allows you to film. A change is as good as a rest. Bulk tipping is a tough job, my dad does the same work as you, its such an important job, but can be very full on and tiring. Hopefully you can spend some more time with your family.

All the best in your new venture Jemma! Regarding coffee grounds; just be aware that they are acidic, so, depending on how much you add to the soil, the acidity of the soil will be affected for some time. Nothng wrong with that, as you can still get plants that like that sort of environment. Also, you're soil condition, naturally, may be acidic already. Just be aware of how they'll affect the way forward.
