Might want to take meta magic initiate, pick up transmute spell to turn green flame blade into a different elemental damage to avoid fire resistance and immunity

Love the arcana cleric dip, such an underrated subclass. And yeah, faction economy is action economy so fast hands...
but you should also talk about the high level thief abilities, they are REALLY good!

Elora was an Acolyte of the great Resonance. She served The Arcanum in her convent where she praised and studied the Arcana. The giver of Magika and the life blood of unseen. During the Great Purge the Magistrate put an end to all Magika studies and culled the Priests and Acolytes to rid Magika from the world. Ran underground Elora runs a Rat Nest, a team of Thieves tasked to find items, Scrolls, Books and People taken by the Magistrate and locked away. In the hope of one day bringing Magika back to the world and restore balance.

I am gonna be playing spelljammer with my dnd group soon. Decided to play a thri kreen. So I’ve been scouring YouTube for builds. Thank you

I like it. I would still start rogue though -for the extra skill (joking here). No, for real though, I would have to start at rogue 1. Evasion + dex saves creates great synergy, not redundancy, your hp is far from limitless, and you get wisdom save proficiency (eventually) from your rogue progression, which RAW can't be substituted out. Another good feat would be resilient con, so you would have all of the strong save proficiencies since con saves are significant even without concentration to maintain

Man, I’m impressed and inspired by your build videos!

Those quick nuggets of build ideas really facilitate my own builds without bogging me down with gimmicky exploits or over analysis. There are other creators who already cater to those aspects, when I want them.
Since you mentioned Treantmonk being a big influence, I guess you’ll be happy to hear, that in my opinion your approach/content has unique qualities to it, that none of the other great build guide creators really manage to capture.
With your combination of concise and compact videos focusing on flavourful themes and unique mechanical interactions you have casually propelled yourself to the very top of my personal ranking. Passing by Chris, Colby, Bilbron and many others.

Btw It’s not necessarily this one in particular, but I figured the engagement would serve you best on the most recent one.

Now. Something to keep in mind with Thief Rogue:

Fast Hands allows us to use Mundane Items that have action uses, as Bonus Actions with Cunning Action. This includes Hunting Traps, Healer's Kits, Climbing Kits, Caltrops, Ball Bearings, donning and doffing of shields, and most importantly, the ability to throw Grenade-Like Items... such as Flasks of Holy Water.

"As an action, you can splash the contents of this flask onto a creature within 5 feet of you or throw it up to 20 feet, shattering it on impact. In either case, make a ranged attack against a target creature, treating the holy water as an improvised weapon."

Getting down and dirty in the weeds, there's a few things we need to understand about these items. They're both Improvised AND Ranged Weapons. Meaning that they're governed by our Dexterity attribute in two ways, To Hit and to Damage. Furthermore, because they're Ranged Weapons, they also *Qualify for Sneak Attack*. Now, normally, we aren't proficient with these weapons, which makes them more difficult to use (no Prof to hit), however this is where Tavern Brawler really shines. Further, sneak attack deals the same damage as the attack that triggered it. This allows you to access other damage types to get around Weapon Resistance early with items like Acid Vials or Holy Water. It also helps us fill out our bonus attack in more valuable ways (2d6+DEX is going to out do a Hand Crossbow or Shortsword everytime).

This is where Cleric really shines, especially if Undead and Fiends are frequent enemies in your campaign. The spell Ceremony allows us to create Flasks of Holy Water anytime we ritually cast the spell, so long as we can afford (or prepare) the components needed to cast it. Even better, this casting cost is the same price as the base cost of a Flask of Holy Water.

Crossbow Expert, Sharpshooter, Gunner, are all going to be useful, not just for the damage potential they bring, but also the the options they open up for you as a Thief. Nets come into use, as you can make use of your astounding action economy to tie down, and get your advantage from the restrained condition. This is much harder to do prior, because Nets are always thrown at Disadvantage (5ft Ranged weapon, or 15 foot long range), however, without Extra Attack, we're in the best position of anyone in the game to make use of this item. (And it gets even better when ODD comes around, as Net gets changed to Adventuring Gear and comes into our ability to use Fast Hands).

My biggest piece of advice for anyone looking at Rogue: Steady Aim is a trap. Movement and action economy are your strengths in combat, do not get taken in by what 'seems' like free Advantage, there are better ways to get it, while keeping your mobility.

Flavor wise I really like the idea of combining that little bit of arcana cleric with the thief who eventually learns to make use of any magic item.

I think an arcana cleric dip is so good on so many characters including fighter, monk, Druid...

I want to make an order cleric with a 3 level dip into rogue for a number of reasons but your love of the thief rogue has me leaning towards that instead of mastermind.. healer feat and using oil are just gold vs bonus action help

as Sage goes threw the build. My mind wonders a but and remebers the Mystic Theurge prestige class from 3.5 and thought what a interesting concept for a build. Someone that blured the line between arcane and Devine magics.

If in F.R. could be a devoted fallower of Mystra. Lol

A question about fast hands, does fast hands work on magic items ? for example if you have a wand of magic missiles could you fire the spell from the wand as a bonus action since you technically "using a magic item" and not casting a spell ? if that's the case I would love to see a build hat uses this concept, maybe an artificer/rogue multiclass of some kind ?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but if you start Cleric and then multiclass in Rogue you are not proficent in Martial weapons so no rapier or even short swords
