Expensive motherboards, no gen 4, higher power draw and cooling requirements, nah it's just not worth it.
It's about time Intel moved off 14nm and gave us something new.

Imagine releasing a processor a year later than a competitor that loses in almost every workload besides gaming, while costing $100 more...

This would have made a good release if it were 220$ and it was June 2019.... To much and too late intel

Huh. The gap between 10th gen and Ryzen 3000 wasn't as big as I thought. Now i'm more interested in what Ryzen 4000 will bring.
I feel sorry for anyone who bought a 9600k or a 9700k after Intel finally added HT to their lineup.

I'll stick with my Ryzen 5 3600. I still believe this is a beast when it comes to value in gaming and general use.

Got a suggestion here, split the games into two categories. The first one being triple A titles and the other being eSports. Then display the average of the two categories at the end as apposed to only having an all game average.

Edit: Many people are saying that it would be more work, but eventually he will do the 35+ game benchmark run, at that point separating the two game types shouldn't be that hard. Unless I've missed something.

I just wait for the 4000 series to build my first pc
EDIT: I also wait for the new gpus.
Nvidias 2000 series are overpriced and rx 5700 xt is not worth it now. Despite being one of the best gpus
EDIT 2:I wait until october cause of the coronavirus.I would buy right now but I am afraid of an economic crisis occuring in my country

Seeing Teddy in the background still fills me with a little bit of sadness. You're a good guy, Steve. But as a viewer, I most appreciate your work. The fact that you're a good guy is just a bonus. Thanks for your work!

R5 3600 for the WIN! My best investing in years! Hope the best for the upcoming 4000 series!

The 10600K is very appealing if not for the expensive motherboard. I'll stick to recommending 3600.

If this was $200 i'd buy. Not now, though. It's something but it also really isn't enough.

I'm still trying to wrap my head on how people get excited for an incredibly small performance improvement over the course of 1-2 years.

Great CPU that can be top-tier with overclocking made poor value by the platform and cooling costs

I'm perfectly happy with my Ryzen 3800X. So, I doubt I'll be buying any more CPU's for a long time.
