PART 1
#myclassicboat #vintageboat A living piece of maritime history, the JOLLY DOLPHIN is a wooden sailing boat modeled on the Chesapeake Bay oyster dredgers and built for recreational use in 1957-58. In this Overview Part of documentary, Captain and owner Jack Zuraw tells us briefly the story of the restoration of this Three Sail Bateau (or two-masted skipjack). With spectacular Chesapeake Bay scenery, and magical video clips, he communicates his joy of sailing JOLLY DOLPHIN and his desire to provide opportunities for high school Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math students to experience this cultural artifact.

Jack, Congratulation on a beautiful story of a beautiful boat! It was a privilege to sail with you during our EYCF STEM through Sailing & Boating program that introduced 5th graders to a small moment of the Jolly Dolphin's experience!

This is a marvelous piece of work. The way you've combined your original footage with historical film/video and still photography adds up to a festival of fine editing. I'm glad you included the other two more detailed videos on reconstruction (I'm greedy), but they also demonstrate the masterful job done in selecting the elements used in the overview. I was happy to find that all three played with superb resolution and color on a 55-inch LG OLED TV set, a tribute to the technical chops employed in addition to your demonstrated talent for story-telling. More, please.
