It's funny, I actually have footwell lights and underbody light sets for my car from Govee. Have for about 2 years now and love them. The footwell lights have a mic that matches the light pattern to the music you are listening to.

Been using a self made Ambilight system for YEARS after a decade of Philips.... The cheap Chinese ones on Ali are way more conclusive to the screen. The cheap ones do individually addressed led's at 60/M... where Govee and Philips do 'average' the main colour, the Chinese ones do INDIVIDUAL EXACT precision... £30 got me enough for my 75"

I want them to sell one that just reads color from single points. You could use, say, 6 of these on the sides of screens, but have them much smaller than the giant webcam sized camera. But also, you could point it at other LED strips, even ones outside the govee ecosystem, and try to sync all the color.
