Maybe the reason big 3 dominates is that their groundstrokes are more efficient, consistent and easy on the body compared to other players on tour. Since Cilic predominantly uses his right arm to generate power he is more prone to injuries compared to Federer. Also there is only one way your torso can rotate and generate power meanwhile if you use your right arm you can strike the ball from a lot of different planes of motion, so torso starting the movement is more consistent for your groundstrokes.
