To master Federer forehand stroke (11) - shoulder external rotation

Показать описание
Federer's racket head shows suddenly excessive change of direction at the ball contact point. This sudden change of direction of racket causes an increase in acceleration.
Federer can make powerful impact with less physical strength compared with Dimitrov because of greater acceleration.

Would love to see your single BH for this teaching method. I have adopted attributes of your teaching with a student and myself as a tennis coach. Very positive and open minded to this method and see value

페더러 스타일로 하니 손목이 많이 꺽여서 많이 아픈대 어찌해야하나요 ? ㅠㅠ 임팩트전까지는 좀 느슨하게 잡아야하는지요

Excellent observation👍💥
But you guys are doing many things wrong in practice so no surprise that only Federer can hit forehands like Federer :-)

Again. Amazing stuff..no other youtube tennis channel is covering this..this is pure scientific analysis!

Roger's right arm is completely relaxed so when he explosively rotates his torso the arm flies freely and reaches maximum angular speed. So a powerfull stroke is generated by a rotating torso.

What do you exactly mean by "change of the racquet direction"? I can´t get to catch it in Federer? Thank you.

Love your videos! However, would you please mind explaining how to get external shoulder rotation? How does it happen naturally?

This is extremely interesting. I think Rogers increased power comes from more mass stemming from use whole body and more accelaration as his racquet follows a more traditional path post contact, it goes more horizontally

Last video you convinced us that Federer has no shoulder movement while dimitrov has excessive shoulder movement. In this video you are indicating opposite. It’s quite confusing

Hi I have a question for you. One thing that is not very clear to me is the racquet drop. I guess that happens before the forward swing... so should the non dominant hand and the body wait for the racquet drop to happen (with the dominant arm) before starting their movement and then drag again the hitting arm to the ball as you describe? How do you suggest to practice the racquet drop in a way that works with the kinetic chain you talk about in the videos? Thank you so much and great content

From one asian to another I will give you one advice: nevermind you made up your mind no time ago. Just look at it from a different way other than muscle because honestly I can't see muscle and if I can't see muscle movement then how am I suppose to believe you with such lacking demonstration. This is why I hesitate to be called a coach to avoid being group as one of you. no offense.
