I agree, wifi extenders are just the worst at everything.

The only use I have found is getting 2.4ghz only devices that have been a pain in the rear connected. It was a quick, cheap easy fix, I know it's not ideal.

Wifi extenders are terrible. But mesh wifi sets are an absolute must for smarthomes. I've got an Asus router with multiple aimesh accesspoints connected with wired backhaul.

yea yea use office grade wifi mesh just for browsing and scrolling tiktok.

Thats not the problem you just dont know how to set it up your supposed to overlap spaces
