It's incredible how Walt was ONE HUNDRED percent right about what Gus did.

Mike was so right, all Walt needed was to take this deal and chill.

This person was playing a much deeper game. Had Gus not basically dismantled the cartel before his death Walt would have had a much tougher time building his empire.

This is the moment the air became clear.

Imagine if these two geniuses worked together instead of against eachother. Walt could've been promoted and helped to plan things with Gus and Mike, while still cooking. Those three would have been able to take them on. Gus and his genius strategy and planning. Walt's relentless ability to problem solve no matter the stakes. Mike's experience, protection, and contacts. With Saul and his silver tongue to protect them legally.

These two seem like they're getting on great. I'm sure they'll have a long and happy friendship ahead of them.

I love how Gus adds an extra 3 million at the end as if it were nothing.

The actor who plays Gus is one hell of an actor and can give you chills by the blank stare he gives

I wish I could blank my memory and rewatch this show.

Truly sad that Walt had to kill gus. The two were absolute masterminds and would’ve been able to keep their meth relationship running for decades

It's wild that Walt and Gus were in such good terms before Pinkman messed it all up

Walt looks calm and collected here but after he leaves, we see that he’s petrified of Gus and the power Gus has over him. Whether or not Jesse started problems with the dealers, I think Walt would have wound up trying to take out Gus. The paranoia would have ate away at him until he convinced himself the only option is to kill Gus

It's masterpiece how half face is covered in shadow just to represent two faces.

It’s scenes like this that showcase what made this show so great. The dialogue is just so good, so charismatic, you find yourself hooked. Very well acted 👍

2:48 That's how I imagine a good job interview.

In an alternate universe, Walt accepts the deal, they both shake hands and the credits start rolling.

One part of this scene that always stuck with me was the lighting. On both of their faces, one side is lit and the other dark. I think it obviously represents that both Walt and Gus can be capable of reason and diplomacy and the other side is ruthless and can do any horrible act without remorse. I think it also represents the two-face lives they live. They're both respected in public but in private they're both monsters.

I love the cinematography here. Both of their faces have one side covered in shadow like they’re both hiding another side to their plan.

I am amazed with Gustavo's professionalism. The way he runs business, especially combined with the nature of that same business, there is no stopping him. Having a worker like Walter was a huge plus, and genius did take notice at first glance - thus allowing honest and open minded meetings like this. Had their relationship went the other way, there would be no stopping them.
