Vince Gilligan did such a good job of cutting the stress and dread of these characters' circumstances with an occasional moment of "maybe everything's gonna be alright." He just peppered them in there. And it was just the right amount.

The whole notion of having a meth lab in customer's housing was the most genius idea in the show, second being the massive laundry room setup. But this is elegant, having all your equipment in modular cases, plug-and-play, and then easy to pack up when done and then move to the next brilliant.

I feel like if Walt’s brother in law wasn’t in the DEA they could’ve done this routine for 20 years and never had trouble.

It's kinda crazy how Walter manages to mess up every good situation he gets. The money from Elliot, cooking for Gus, the fumigation solution. He screws up a good opportunity and somehow manages to salvage it just to mess everything up again until everything was gone

From RV, to Lab, to someone’s house. Now that’s what I call improvising.

The montages of BrBa and BCS are truly classic.

Walt was so obsessed with a clean lab they spent an entire episode killing a fly only to work in a place like this lol

I still think "Vamonos Pest" is a genius name for an extermination company in New Mexico.

The music was so brilliant In this scene and all of the cooking scenes, what I love most is the progression of taste in arrangement which corresponds with the progression of lab quality throughout the series. In season 1 and 2 they were still making meth in the trashy RV and the music reflected the quality of the lab, in season 3 and 4 the lab cooks were accompanied by orchestral instrumental arrangements to reflect the professional business-centered laboratory provided by Gus and in season 5 and this scene in particular the music reflects the grandiose nature of simply cooking for yourself without the added constraints of deadlines or threat of law.

I really like the symbolism at 2:06 with the fumes venting out into the yard with all the kids' toys. That's a powerful shot.

0:10 judging by outside looking through the doorway both Walt and Jesse are clearly in Mexico to produce their product lol

If walt didnt have that gigantic ego, he could have done this forever.

Setting this lab up and tearing it down every couple of days must’ve been really annoying lol. Smart because it makes it much harder to find but annoying for sure.

Vince Gillian really made cooking meth look as elegant as bob ross painting… now that’s genius

It’s actually truly crazy that they were making Meth in peoples’ homes. It’s so crazy and brilliant at the same time
