Excuse me but you didn't show how to restart in horizontal? What about horizontal? Should i start and develop the puddle on the bottom plate or on the top plate? Some say start on the botom and build puddle that would bridge and connect to the top plate. Then run the bead

I seem to be getting high spots using the "J" method. Only thing keeping me from passing my test is too high of a cap and im sure my tie ins didnt help that.

wouldnt that technique give u slag inclusion from where u strike the ark and travel to the tie in and go over it again when u start traveling forwards?
