Bandlab Cakewalk - Musical Typing with your Computer Keyboard

With my students off and struggling to get work done...again; a few are resorting to the rather impressive and yet still very FREE BandLab Cakewalk *(link below), to learn music production techniques. For those with just a laptop and no MIDI keyboard it's a challenge composing musical ideas. However, Cakewalk allows you to use your computer keyboard to enter notes, switch octave, modulate notes, sustain and adjust velocity; all within the box - no need for external gear. Here's how to do it!

With this trick you can literally take your studio anywhere.

Bro I just Downloaded the free version of synplant, and I'm using it with this and it is amazing when you can change the velocity and octaves also.

This daw is such garbage when it comes to this. It's soooo unbelievably bad and makes the entire workflow so bad. And for me slow workflow = bad outcome because a smooth workflow = 99% of the creative process.
