Foshan is part of the major Pearl Delta Urban conglomeration. Foshan is known for its ceramics and furniture. Foshan is close to Guangzhou and is also called Guangzhou's little brother

When I visited China in the last Century, it was very complicated to obtain a Visa and I of course as a first visited Beijing and Xian with a Danish/Chinese owned Travel Agency. We used a train to go to Xian and back, and the Hotels were fine. But as now soon to be 76 I won't come back, though I loved the frames for animals being made for the Chinese New Year, and being made on the old wall in Xian. A minor town with a larger population than Denmark! We landed in the new Norman Foster designed Airport in Beijing.
