Foshan, 'Guangzhou's little brother', offers rich traditional Chinese culture

The city of Foshan, known as “Guangzhou’s little brother”, sits at the centre of China’s Greater Bay Area and only 3.5 hours by cfrom Hong Kong. The city offers visitors a culture-filled getaway which has earned China’s highest official rating for tourism with attractions such as Bruce Lee Paradise, Xiqiao mountain and the nightlife of Lingnan Tiandi.

I used to live in Foshan. I loved it, it has lots to offer. The Guanyin statue and the Xiqiao mountain is a must see! A huge plus is that it's located just by major cities like Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hong Kong and Macau :) You can also reach beautiful Guilin in a fairly short amount of time by using bullet train.

Jeet Kune Do didnt come into the world, it came out of it. Although Bruce travelled to the US and stuff and took alot of time to piece his brilliance together about this martial art, it's back traces are in Guangdong. Jeet Kune Do uses a variety of martial arts, and although basically any could be included in Bruce's "way of no way, " there is a bit of an emphasis on wing Chun, muay thai, kung fu, western style boxing, even some Malaysian/Indonesian stuff, styles of Silat. Guangdong borders the ocean. Brits, Thai, Chinese, and of course some island nation people like Malaysian/Indonesian all historically had been in Guangdong

Can't say for sure, but maybe Bruce tied slightly more of the martial arts together from the long history of the people who had been in Gaungdong. Btw, if anyone like Indonesian martial arts movies, Iko Uwais, the Raid 2, silat, is one of the best. You know, as long as you don't mind some fight scenes exaggerated a bit, haha

Although there's labor camps and stuff in China it is important to remember how awesome this stuff is. Great video
