This is a great way to put things. I will focus on family, pets, study, and career. As u say I think I would like to enjoy see my finances grow instead of deplete like the health bar. I have spent a easy upwards of a hundred dollars per week for 25 years. I have always worked extra to afford. I really do wish great things for you Dr.

Yea that health bar analogy totally makes sense. My physical energy is slowly coming back after quitting cannabis. It takes time! I just want to reiterate that the mental health aspect of recovery cannot be downplayed, that takes effort and time also to build up and maintain. I wish you all the best. And as always thank you Dr.Frank

Thank you for this! My story is long but in short I smoked 10 years tried to stop here and there once I got to 7 years I would try to quit sometimes. I now had stoped for 1 year. I go to MA zoom calls at night 8pm every night and also a therapist that has helped. I decided to celebrate my 1yr by smoking for a month. Now I have been sober again for 20 days. Lost so much weight. Had withdrawals bad for about a week and half and now I thought I was ok but after my period ended I have been super sad and crying lol finding things to cry about. I will shift my focus on more happy things as you say. When you said think of things that make me happy and then do them… I realized I don’t know what really makes me happy anymore or I don’t focus enough on just that. I have been keeping myself busy tho. I feel like sometimes I’m afraid to do what makes me happy lol because I was so used to getting a quick fix.

I've quit weed recently and I've been focusing on creating a better sleep schedule and daily routine, eating healthier, exercising, and focusing on my artwork, reading, and preparing for my new job. I've been using sage in my room and my garage too to clear out the old energy. I actually feel pretty good overall. :)

this is the first time that i quit with the mindset of quitting rather than "taking a break" or "lowering intake" and looked for some advice on youtube, thanks you for this channel.

I'm lucky that i already have things to do, things i never dedicated effort to doing while weed monopolized my free time. I've got a bookshelf full of books I've bought and never read, I got a bike i haven't ridden since I bought it, i got a multisport membership that i haven't utilized, got longboard that i used but enjoyed the most while high - that's gonna be tough to crack cos it's really good, floating above nice asphalt on the board while high as a kite.
Even got friendships to invest more into. Languages to learn, tons of stuff.

The major problem is that I've always had plans to do such things and never got around to it even before weed. Gotta crack this somehow.

Currently awake and on my second day of quitting weed! Your videos are honestly therapeutic. At least to me...really helps me ease off a lil!

I'm thinking to read Classics. I found that difficult when I was younger and gave up on them. At least if I have that problem with a book now then I can find a video about it. I'm quite into learning languages. Have been for years. But I think smoking weed has slowed down my progress. If I'm to be honest. I saved this video and am watching it for the 2nd time. It's inspiring. Thanks

Ah, such good advice thank you a lot... I've been at a total imbalance with many cups of coffee and many slabs of cannabinoid dabbed every day for over a decade now. It has become such a burden on my motivation and creativity. This would be a long comment if I explain much more hahaha, but the short end is what you have said here about the extreme effort and expense I'm putting into fulfilling the never ending habits. Coffee and weed used to help me work on all sorts of projects nonstop when I was young, but now I have things I want to achieve and have run into bottlenecks of time and money literally because I keep brewing a fresh coffee, smoking a dab in my oil rig, and I guess just giving away my But I really think I'm at an end with it, as it's just tiring- and your advice has been encouraging.
