02:22 - Attach filler strip
02:54 - Tighten screws and finish

Currently installing lower cabinets. Honestly the tip about shimmimg the strip to be level may be the best tip I've heard through all my research. I'm going to do that

On the back of the cabinets you should use cabinetry screws, not sheetrock screws, because the tapered head of the sheetrock screws can crack the back panel ...

Great tips. Id also add, for those about to install to check for low spots in the floor and make reference line from the highest part of your floor. You can always shim to bring cabinets up, but cant lower them.

I'd caution against using 3inch screws for cabinets.
Unless you know where your electrical and plumbing is in the wall you are taking a chance.
1 1/4 front of stud to edge of hole for electrical and plumbing. 1/2 or 5/8 drywall plus cabinet back thickness. I'd use 2 1/2 max.

If you have wavy walls, how do you measure/mark so the base cabinets will be in line with the top cabinets. If you start at the top left for the tops and then put in the bases from left as well, how do make sure that the right edges line up for the fridge or stove say three cabinets over...if the left hand wall is not plumb. Would you drop a plumb line (or something easier) to have a line to start from....?

@1:45 I have that situation small corner lower kitchen cabinet section that’s really driving me crazy because trying to measure the thickness of a shim that’s basically behind the cabinet when it’s against the wall is something I haven’t perfected yet
