Take the receptacle out from behind the cabinet before setting. Use an ark shield in the hole and set receptacle flush in the cabinet back. This way you can pull it out to service in the future. Trust me...I am an electrician.

Hey Andrew, I saw the installation of the dish washer plumbing. To each his own but we use to have a dishwasher and realized how inconvenient this convenience is . We scrapped it and hand wash our dishes. You have to scrape the dirty dishes, rinse them off and then place them in the dishwasher . Might as well wash them by hand we discovered!

you can get a electric box extension to extend that box under the sink out to the face of the back of the cabinet wall and then put the face plate in the an idea boss

I agree that I would never put counters on top of a floating floor but you need to floor in your dishwasher and refrigerator spaces since they can be pulled out for repair, cleaning. If I had a wood floor, I have done it both ways with no problem. I have seen a hardwood floor go in the entire home and then everything was installed on top with no problems. Looks great so far. I am building cabinets now for our vacation home kitchen remodel and while tedious, I look forward to the final install too.

make sure you have room for flooring to go under the dishwasher if it leaks water will go under flooring if there isnt any under the dishwasher

I learned a trick years ago when I had to mount an island to the floor. You make a picture frame out of 1" x 2" slats and mount it to the floor. You set your cabinet over it and then tack cabinet to it around the bottom.

Andrew, check the doors to make sure they open up without binding up against the door on the next cabinet door. Some cabinets need a spacer in between each cabinet so the doors will open without binding against the door on the next cabinet to it.

My daughter is experiencing having to deal with cabinets built on top of hardwood. It’s a major headache! Thanks so much for the heads up regarding spotty videos. I went with a floating floor...to but not under...the cabinets/appliances as well...it was so much better than if I put it under them...had that in past homes and they did separate as you said.
