That was literally the exact video I need. You used the theory and order of operations perfectly.

Love the way you explain the steps. Basically level the width (tilt) then the depth (putch). Exactly what I needed.. this is such a pain to complete.

Simple and to the point, I like it. I do have a question in regards to a corner cabinet. I added cleats in the corner at 34.5" but my cabinets are 34 1/2" to 34 5/8" in height due cheap craftsmanship. The manufacturer also states I need a build up kit for the counter to clear the drawers. What would you do in regards to the cleats, move them or shim them based on the 34 5/8"?

Do you use a multitool to cut off the shims to make them flush? And then the shims on the front, what do you doo to keep them from moving? Do you secure the front in any way? Thanks for the video!

Do you mark the shims and cut them off thrn put them back?
When you raise the height with a shims, do you thrn need to cut the toe kick to height? If there is a slow incline between cabinets does it make it difficult to get the toe kick measured?

Does anyone know a way to level the cabinets for backsplash AFTER the countertop has already been installed? My cabinets were not level but the stone installers installed the countertops anyway and then said they couldn’t add backsplash because it’s level.

They won’t own up to it - what can I do from here?

I worked for a guy that would set the lowest cabinet first and cut all the bottoms to match the height. He insisted that was the right way and everyone else was wrong. He was an arrogant jerk most of the time..
