I think I have a more simple straight forward solution, less calculation:
let’s call: y = sqrt(4x)
then we have:
y^2 = 4x
x^2 = 3x + y
Subtracting these 2 equations gives:
y^2 - x^2 = x - y
Algebraic identity gives:
(y-x)(y+x) + (y-x) = 0
meaning:
(y-x)(x+y+1)=0
2 cases then:
1/ y-x = 0 => y=x => x^2=4x => x*(x-4)=0
x=0 and x=4 are solutions
2/ x+y+1 = 0 but Delta < 0 so only complex solutions.
