All you have to do is take spirulina apart from the B12 rich food. If you take chlorella or eat eggs (which have B12) at 8:00, take spirulina at 12:00, when the B12 receptors are already occupied by the real one. B vitamins are water soluble, they don't stay there too long, need replenishing real fast, so the B12 receptors won't be occupied by the analogue long enough to make you deficient if you also get enough B12, you'll get deficient if you ONLY try to get B12 from spirulina and nothing else, and if that's the case, no shit! 🙄. And also, all nutritional yeast that has B12 in it is fortified with synthetic vitamins, which aren't as well absorbed by the body. It's best to get non-fortified nutritional yeast for all other B vitamins (from B1 to B9), and chlorella or eggs for B12. The only B vitamin that has been proven to be best absorbed in the synthetic form, is Benfotiamine, AKA the synthetic B1, because they were able to make it fat soluble, and therefore it gets much deeper into the tissues.

You seem very tired, should take more spirulina to boost your energy. I take spirulina from 60 years old till now 72 years old, everyday i can run 10km without any issue

Good info. Thank you. I just started taking blue Spirulina after 20 years yesterday, and it totally calmed my ADD. Everybody thought there was something wrong with me because I wasn’t trying to fill the silence with nonsense. I’ll keep the b12 information in mind and will temper when I feel my body has balanced. Thank u!

Good thoughts here. I've heard the same reasoning about B12 concerning it's analogues but have not been able to find any actual papers on the spirulina lowering serum B12, only the concerns.
Are you talking about the typical powdered form here?
I've been growing it in my own bioreactors for seven years now and only eat the fresh paste. I eat 25 grams twice a day now for three years. I do get regular blood work and have not come up deficient yet. I do not take any B12 supplements but do eat a largely vegan with occasional meats.

My first experience with the bacteria called Spirulina in it's powdered form during my days on the Gerson therapy. It smelled fishy and tasted not so great. I figured out that the smell/taste was decomposing odors.
It is a lot of work to grow it for ones self so I have expanded to 16, 000 liters from the original 400 and now provide it to around 60 people in my area. Many of whom are either cancer or Alzheimer's or some sort of demensia. I'm not saying it cure's anything but most are experiencing some profound positive quality of life. A clarity of mind, sharper, more present. I know I do.
If you have some sort of study on the B12 analogue, I would like to know about it because, other than viewpoints, I have not found anything.

Thank you

I used to buy Spirulina from a company that imported it from China or USA, the problem was that during the drying process, it was put under heavy temperatures while being in the spray dryer, and thus it adopted a fish-like smell due to the fatty acids being altered due to high temperatures, and the flavor was not tasty either, on top of that I had the dizziness that you mentioned and stopped taking it. I started growing my own spirulina a year ago and dry it at low temperatures (35 °C) and the flavor and smell are super different, I would strongly suggest buying spirulina from local farms that acknowledge this problem and process it at low temperatures.

Spirulina gave me a real boost, but over time I noticed it did mess with my digestion a little bit, so maybe it's better to do short courses of it and take breaks

Spirulina does have a Pseudo B12 that could block receptor sites from other B12, however I can say that after taking spirulina for 6 years everyday I had my blood test done last year and every quarter and the spirulina not only kept my protein levels excellent it did not create a negative on my B's. It's most important to take a spirulina that is grown from a closed system to avoid contaminants.

Did I miss something? The title and the content of your video don’t even go with each other. Nowhere in your video did you mention any side effects that you have experienced taken spirullina . The link you were going to provide about the study is not link. The only links that are provided take us to your website on the positive effects of spirulina. I would take this video simply as an opinion video as they lacking resources to back up your opinion. I’m not sure how much I would take your word I see is that you were stayed home with dad‘s also vegan 🤷‍♀️

I take it and I love it. E3 algae and brain on are great products. Remember doctors Will almost always speak out against natural supplements, they’re sometimes paid to write articles but you have to try it and see if works for you.

Pseudovitamin B12 does not interfere with the absorption or utilization of true B12 in the body because they are not recognized in the same way by the body’s transport and utilization systems.

Somehow I feel most people have lost the curiosity to truly observe and do less research in terms of Google
And more research in terms of Listening to their bodies
And trying to be curious and patient with observations

Might want to rethink your nutritional yeast as 95% of it on the market is artificially sprayed with the inferior form of B12 which is cyanocobalamin. This is why nutritional yeast is so yellow and will get peed out and colors the urine yellow. I recommend Matt Monarch's nutrional yeast which is the rare type that is not sprayed and I also suggest Global Healings' B12 which is methyl, adenosyl, & hydroxo forms of b12.

Does this concern you about spirulina or do you think you'll keep taking it?

can someone explain to me? How does spirulina improve immunity if it is a gram-negative cyanobacterium? Can gram-negative bacteria have a positive effect?

I used spirulina powder off and on since the 70's. Three years ago I started getting dizzy and I eliminated the spirulina and the dizziness stopped. I restarted months later got dizzy again and that confirmed the cause. Never had the room spinning on me again since I walked away from it.
