It’s probably a radio cut version because when songs are played on the radio, they take out extra components of this song, to allow other songs to air as fast as possible

It actually sang "of the world" sometimes live. And it was in the mighty ducks ending.

My cousin explained this to me once! They do “of the world” in the live version, which is apparently very typical because recorded tracks often don’t translate well to live performances and have to be modified to keep the flow of the set list.
