Fat Bomb recipes! Vegan, paleo, and keto. These make a wonderful sugar free snack that still taste sweet but won’t impact your blood sugar or your waistline!

You can use either store bought coconut butter (melt it) or make your own if you have a high speed blender – it’s cheaper.

----------------

Coconut Butter

4 cups shredded coconut
1/3 cup melted coconut oil

Blend both ingredients in a high speed blender until smooth (about 2 minutes).

6 Different Fat Bombs

Use enough stevia to achieve desired level of sweetness. This amount is what I like best. Just don’t use too much or it will turn bitter and overpowering.

Orange Turmeric

1/2 cup melted coconut butter
5-7 drops orange essential oil
1/8-1/4 teaspoon turmeric
5 drops of stevia

Matcha

1/2 cup coconut butter
1/2 – 1 teaspoon matcha powder
6-8 drops stevia

Maca Chocolate Chip

1/2 cup coconut butter
1 teaspoon maca powder
6-8 drops stevia
1-2 tablespoons cacao nibs

Chocolate

1/2 cup coconut butter
1 tablespoon cacao powder
8-9 drops stevia
1 tablespoon cacao nibs

Blue Majik

1/2 cup coconut butter
5-6 drops stevia
Blue majik powder, to achieve desired colour

Beet

1/2 cup coconut butter
5-6 drops stevia
Beet root powder, to colour

Chocolate drizzle

To keep it fully keto, drizzle some melted 100% chocolate over the fat bombs or use a dark chocolate of your choice

I made a few of these and wow! I never would've thought to add Turmeric powder and I think I like those as much as the chocolate ones! Thanks for sharing!

This is genius!!! I wonder if each one is under 200 calories considering that it is made with a combo of coconut oil and shredded coconut. It will be so easy to mix and match and make any flavor using the oils chocolate peanut butter vanilla extract. My mouth is watering.

Where did you get your molds? I'm having a difficult time finding high quality food grade ones.

I tried making these. I made the matcha and chocolate. Not sure what I should have been expecting, but I expected them to be a little sweeter than they are.

Couldn't these be placed in a mini-cupcake paper, then put in mini-cupcake pan and frozen?

Could you substitute the coconut butter for anything else?

Can you use a food processor or a high speed blender without the stick to make the coconut butter?

I know this will not be well-received most likely, but "fat bombs" are why you weren't feeling so hot on your plant based diet. All major health organizations encourage high consumption of fruits and veggies (raw being ideal), and to lower fat intake. By depriving your body of an abundance of fresh fruits and vegetables and instead focusing on fat, it's no wonder you weren't feeling good. A whole food plant based diet that is high in carbs and low in fats has been clinically proven to reverse heart disease (even stage 4 which is someone on the verge of a life-ending heart attack), type two diabetes, atherosclerosis, etc, etc, etc for decades.
Also, is it so awful to feel guilty about harming animals? I think it's perfectly natural and speaks to our species' psychological profile. Maybe some day you will be interested in a healthy plant based diet again and a cruelty-free lifestyle. There's no lack of resources for those wanting to learn the sustainable and healthy way to do it. 👍
Dr. Caldwell Essylstin, Dr. Gregor, Dr. Furhman and many others go into depth on this topic for anyone interested. "The China Study" and "How to Prevent and Reverse Heart Disease" are my top faves. Cultures that eat plant based live longer with far fewer diseases, and they focus on carbs, not fat.

Can dry stevia be used instead of the liquid?
