Learn about skin cancer treatment from dermatologist Dori Goldberg, MD, in our most recent Health Watch video. Dr. Goldberg notes that most skin cancers are treated with surgery – they're cut out with a margin of healthy skin and sent to a pathologist to make sure all the cancer has been removed. "The most important thing with melanoma is you want to catch it early," she said. "When it's caught early and it's just on the surface – what's called melanoma in situ – it is very, very curable."
