NASA's Terrifying NEW Engine Changes Everything!

NASA's New Engine To Reach Light Speed.

When it comes to space exploration, we as a scientific community have always been able to adapt and overcome any obstacles. We found a way to peer into the cosmos. We landed a man on the moon. We've sent probes beyond our solar system. We did all these great feats of engineering in a span of a couple of decades. Despite these achievements, there has always been a seemingly impossible task that we only dreamed about; light speed.

You see, we can study exoplanets and send probes out into the infinite beyond, but we’ve never been able to actually see the wonders of the universe up close. Even the nearest galactic neighbor, Proxima Centauri b, is 4.25 light-years away. With our current technology, it would take us 6300 years to reach it. The tragic reality is that everything worth studying in our universe is beyond our lifetime. Or so we thought. NASA recently claimed that their new space engine can reach 99% of the speed of light. If this is true, a new reality of space travel just opened its doors.

Well, let's fix a few things. NASA did not design this. It was an engineer working for NASA that submitted a paper on a theoretical design that is yet untested.
The engine will not go the speed of light. It will go near the speed of light. Going the speed of light is impossible with our current understanding of Physics. Read up on special and general relativity if you don't understand this idea.
There are actual considerations because sending anything near the speed of light as that involves forces that when striking an object will instantly destroy the craft so you really couldn't even use it in the solar system. It would have to be very open space with no chance of collisions.
Somebody has to fund the testing of this to make it work. So far it's just a paper. We'll see. Who knows. It would be cool.

This is ridiculous. "Hey, let's just bounce shit around in a box. That'll get us going really fast!"

So, it's just on paper so it's NOT "NASA's new engine" after all. The Alcubierre drive has more promise than this.

I’m seeing this header “Remember to keep comments respectful and to follow our Community Guidelines”. I wonder if spreading misinformation is allowed. I guess so. The EM Drive was proven useless by experiments. After that I didn’t even watch the rest, these kind of videos were the author is either not well informed or dishonest make me sick.

With Light Speed travel Mars would be the lowest expectation.

I believe someday we can travel in space with speed of light. Ps that video was so intresting. 🚀

I have a doubt that how can they control that speed what if it hits comets, asteroid planet debris

So the title of be this video is all hocus pocus 😂🤣

Maybe we’ll one day discover a warp bubble.

Einstein Indian Physics? Wtf is that? Satyendra Nath Bose, say his name. They named ‘Boson’ after him, least you can do.
Video was very clickbait-y. The title and picture suggested that there is a craft being prepared for light speed travel. I mean I knew already that isn’t true, but I hoped you’d have more substance than bringing in the EMdrive. Your other content is usually much better.

I think you're on the wrong track with this one. Sure, maybe the mass of an ion increases on the "relativistic" leg of their loop, but it's that word: Loop, that's what boggles me. Because those very same ions then have to DE-celerate as well, in order to enter the SLOWER half of the loop. According to the Pie In The Sky crowd, that can somehow be accomplished by "not giving back" the energy the system has gained on that leg?

But... HOW on EARTH can you un-push the swing of the mass, without un-pushing whatever energy it might have gained you so far, before it "looped?"

Remember that if you accelerate a ship to "light-speed, " in order to do that, you have to push harder and harder at every moment, in order to push in every new erg of speed/energy. Why doesn't that same relationship exist for the mass of these ions? IOW, maybe you AREN'T getting a "relativistic" ion at all, but one that's soaked up half your push, to get its (new, increased) mass halfway there?

It's wonderful to have such Engine as light to cover a great distance, GOD bless you all in JESUS CHRIST mighty name, Amen and Amen

It would be nice if you listed a source

Probably Elon M has already plans to create such a engine :) Then, if we found aliens we will eliminate them with our shotguns! Almost sure they don't have gunpowder technology yet - Yeahhhh

So I'm assuming they've sent something light speed and someone sent something back that explains this weird new world 😂

if you travel in that speed then humans will become plasma

That's an excellent Breakthrough to be sincere, more Breakthroughs for you in JESUS CHRIST mighty name, Amen. But my advice is, fear GOD and respect Him, , because is an Omniscience GOD. We pray more grease to your elbows, Amen.

Space and Time are the same thing! We have already been beyond our solar system.
