When Voyager 1 was launched in 1977, I was 17 and graduated my senior year 😮 I am 64 and 3/4. It's amazing and mind-boggling, how far we've come with technology 😮 and how old I am. Lol

I can't even get cell signal in my basement.

To think that Voyager 1 is still capable of sending data back to us on 47 year old technology, amazing.

if aliens are anything like us. I don’t think it was a good idea telling them where we are 😂

Before human express his desire to communicate with extraterrestrial/intelligent creatures, he should "communicate" with his own kind and stop all the wasteful/stupid wars.

'Moons around 53 and I know that's stupid, but it just never gets old 🧑‍🚀🤣🤣🤣

Voyager 1 durability is extraordinary. Built for a much shorter mission, Voyager 1 has exceeded its life expectancy by more than four decades, remaining functional and transmitting valuable data. Second, technological limitations at the time of launch. With hardware and software that would be considered ancient by today's standards, Voyager 1's success in detecting this plasma phenomenon is a testament to its extraordinary design and scientific precision 🥇🇮🇩😵‍💫😘🥰

What other vehicle has NASA made that lasted 46 years in space I can't think of one people have to be rescued off the space station and that hasn't been up to that long

It's kind of funny that Voyager is tracked from Roswell, NM.

The aliens keep picking it up checking it out and sending it back. Carl Sagan is phenomenal.😊

It's Vger, I saw it in the Star Trek movie. It will come back and try to destroy us. It is looking for it's 'Creator".

Wow! A man-made device is still working in space 47 years later. We should all be proud for being human!

A different time. There are many here who delight in tearing down people and their accomplishments. Easy to do, but most ironic when most have done little of note to better anything for anyone but themselves. Narcissistic, greedy little minds, , jealous minds that enjoy destroying what good is left in the world. . . I salute the Voyager missions and those who made them possible.

Voyager 1 has detected plasma waves originating from outside our solar system. These waves indicate energy activity in interstellar space that was previously undetectable. This discovery changes our view of interstellar space, which was previously thought to be calm and empty. This energy activity indicates that interstellar space is more dynamic and complex than we ever imagined 🥇🇮🇩😵‍💫😘🥰

Uh, Voyager One has not been in Orbit for 45 years. It is outside our solar system headed to deep space.

And Tricky Dicky Nixon spoke to the first astronots on the moon, in real time, via a landline.
