How Captain America Returned The Infinity Stones

We have to talk about Steve Rogers’ MCU story and what he did with those Gems! He started off as just a kid from Brooklyn who didn’t know how to stay down, and eventually grew into one of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes. Then at the end of the film, The Super Soldier embarked on a dangerous mission: return all the gems the Avengers had taken from the timeline and put them back exactly how he found them so as not to destroy reality. That’s just as big of an undertaking as stopping Thanos don’t you think? We know he accomplished his goal, as evidenced by Old Man Cap, but we robbed a chance to ever see how exactly this unfolded. Because let’s be honest, a lot of this seemed impossible for one guy to do!

Because yes, he could return things like the Mind Stone and the Reality Stone, but not in the way they originally came. How will that affect things in those timelines? Would Cap stick around to help since he’s sorta responsible for the mess? And how exactly did he plan to return the Power Stone and the Soul Stone? It’s not like he would have a handy dandy spaceship right? Well, there might have been a clever workaround for this and it probably involves the Space stone!

So check out today’s video all about the untold, unseen adventure about The First Avenger returning all the gems to their proper timelines. After you’re done, be sure to hit that big like and subscribe button for more awesome CBR content like this. And hey, I’ve heard if you leave a comment, then Disney+ might make this adventure into an animated series! Ok, that’s not necessarily true, but we can dream, right?

If you could only choose one….Which infinity stone would you choose?

I want this to be a Disney+ show. Every stone return could be an episode and of course breaking down the reunion with Peggy throughout the series

Captain America: The Last Mission
This would be a sick movie considering all the stuff he's facing and even red skull.

A movie showing how Cap put the stones back and finally reuniting with Peggy would be SUCH a good Captain America 4

The Ancient One could use the time stone to revert the other stones to their prior states (cube, staff, liquid) for his later deliveries. Due to the past trips, the return trips would be more precise and he could just appear right in the room he needs to be. Finally, when he gets to Asgard he just has to hold up Mjolnir and put a finger to his lips and Heimdal would be 'OK, superhero stuff goin on. Peace out.'

How do you think Steve Rodgers Captain America returned the Soul Stone to Vormir in the past? Do you think he should have gotten back Natasha Romanoff after putting the stone back in its place?

0:55 "They needed to put a cap on Steve's story."
I saw what you just did there.

It would definitely be interesting to see Steve come face to face with Red Skull again when he returns the Soul Stone, but it would also be very interesting/ emotional to see Steve faced w/ Natasha's resting place (especially if her body was still there).

Seeing Red Skull on Vormir would also likely be a surprise to Cap since it's unlikely Clint would've been able to prepare him for it:
- Clint didn't seem to recognise Red Skull on Vormir, & his description of a 'red-skinned spectre' probably wouldn't ring any bells w/ Cap (especially having seen aliens w/ colourful skin like Gamora, Drax, Thanos, Proxima Midnight, etc in Infinity War & Endgame, & thinking Red Skull probably died many years ago)
- Cap would realise that the Tesseract had sent Red Skull to Vormir the day he went into the ice & that Red Skull's been there all this time (seemingly w/out aging)
- Their interaction would be interesting since they hv a past as enemies but Red Skull has clearly changed in some ways during his servitude on Vormir

What about Thor's hammer?, or was that just a throw-it to Asgard sort of thing?

This is why they didn't go into the whole thing about Steve returning the stones. You can stretch logic and believability in comics only so far before it kind of snaps.

1st soul stone to try and bring back Natasha. 2nd Then uses the space stone to travel to Morag to return the power stone. Cap' realize that he needs an orb and uses the reality stone to make an orb to house the power stone. 3rd then using the space and time stone he goes off to Asgard. Before returning the reality stone he remembers that he needs a scepter and tesseract. Again using the reality stone to make what he needs before using the reality stone to transform it into it's liquid form. 4th using the time and space stones to return to earth Cap'n returns the tesseract. No more need for a space stone he is back on earth and can finish his mission there. 5th he returns the scepter with the mind stone to a past out Steve who thought he was fighting Loki. 6th and final he returns the time stone to the ancient one. For all his efforts she offers to rewind time around him sending Steve back in time to live his life with Peggy. The time stone works differently than traveling through the quantum realm as we saw in the first Dr. Strange movie.

First, I so badly want this to be a live-action show/movie. I want to see more of Steve Rogers and Mjolnir!!

Second, speaking of #1, you forgot that Steve also has to return Mjolnir to Asgard, too. Now, this would be infinitely easier than returning the Reality Stone, as he could just drop off Mjolnir damn near anywhere on Asgard. However, I feel like this would also be a major reason that he would wait to return the Reality Stone last. Having both Mjolnir and his shield to face whatever challenges try to prevent returning the other stones would just be too useful.

They could make a whole movie about him returning the stones easily he probably had some crazy encounters.

I just don't understand one thing. Bruce Banner concluded that you can't change our timeline because it's a different timeline they're going to, but if Captain America suddenly stays in the timeline, he's suddenly older. And nothing will be changed, you say? how come he changed???

Steve had the Space stone, so he could use that for traveling the galaxy. The reality stone could be used to turn the space stone back into the tesseract and the reality stone back into the Ether. The Time stone could be used to replace the more difficult stones back without being detected by freezing time. The last stones to be returned would be the mind stone and time stone in 2012, as the Ancient One would be expecting someone to return it.
