its been awhile since i bought the title, and i was amazed at first. but the game had a major bug that made playing not possible.
imagine playing humankind, from stoneage to atomic age, than you drop the 4. atomic bomb, close to world domination and you start noticing, that everything gets choppy,
even the soundfile starts to stutter to a point where the game will crash after a set ammount of turns, simply cause the game has been programmed that way. i dont know why that was the case, but you could play like 400 turns, and than the game ends by a crash

that crash is the reason for the bad reputation on steam about the game. you simply cant even end a game propperly before it falls apart.

is that still an issue or did they fix this?

based on the Steam reviews the game seems to be terrible and it's been largely abandoned by
Amplitude, such a shame because the art style makes a very good first impression.
