As a high elo midlaner I can tell not many players are afraid of katarina, she isn't worth a ban tbh. We are scared of the coinflip teammates that apparently never played against a roaming midlaner in their entire lives.

This is the MASSIVE difference between low and high elo. In low elo there would have been at least 5 kills or deaths mid. In high elo its a game of strategic chess where every kill is a huge victory

So what i took from the video is :
Kat did 2 huge mistakes .
Dopa played it PERFECTLY, yet he almost died if it weren't for the wall trick & kat skills was on CD .

and that was pre lv 6 !

Just to sum up the video for you guys:
- Know the ranges and cooldowns of every summoner spell in the game.
- Be able to tether like a pro (a very difficult ability)
- Contest every single minion.
- Always watch the minimap and use lane positioning perfectly.
- Do random moves like Dopa that even skillcapped doesn't understand.
If you do all of that perfectly, then you can beat OP champs like Katarina. See guys, she's not unbeatable :)

Why didn't katarina just use her ignite at the end lol? Obviously dopa knew she had the summoner spell advantage and still stepped up to fight. He was literally 100 hp from death and the ignite could've easily killed him.

I like breakdowns like these, but the more important part to show would be the midgame. Every time Kat roams to another lane she gets a double kill with Lvl6+ and after that she's such a pain in the ***

I love watching this videos, i really do learn a lot, i do wish my teammates were scared of the spells instead of the champions. People reading this comment will be familiar with the "why did you not finish off the ezreal" because he is fed! ...but he used everything! You had him he has no spells available!..."but it's ezreal" other champs apply her but damn this happens too often in plat

This is why you should read abilities, even of champions you don't play and get to understand them. Katarina's Q will always land 150 units behind the first target it hits, so if you walk towards her, the dagger won't land anywhere near you when it lands, meaning if she jumps to it you would already be over 200-300 units from it. If she does the W dagger before Q, if she does or does not jump to Q, jumping to her W is all she can do to damage you, and after that she has nothing left, her Q is still on CD, Her W was just used, Her Q dagger is miles away, and even if she has ult and her her E is up when she ults she can't dash to you more than once, and will have no dagger burst either.
