I've learned how to control the wave properly, honestly helped me but in low elo (I'm currently plat 3) all those high level strategies are not that important. Yeah, I built a massive lead mid but meanwhile my bot is 0/8 by 6 minutes. Yeah, I have priority but my jungler has no idea how to abuse that. Yes, we got a kill mid, but everyone is back to their business without helping me pushing the wave, so the enemy laner won't miss a lot of minions. Those are strategies and tactics that work when your team also plays on high levels. I'm not saying this kind of knowledge is useless, but definitely not what you need to climb

Bad habits are hard to break without serious effort, so don't try to take everything in at once guys. Set out to practice one thing each game, and don't spam games, you need to control your learning process. The effort Proguides has put in has helped me a lot. The blitz app has helped me a lot too. I haven't played since season 3, and it's really hard for me to adjust to all of this. Getting there though.

I was playing aatrox in mid lane following Dopa's example, I made some mistakes but I used his strat to my advantage and won my lane as well as the game!!
