Today, I am going to cover some of the best FREE vst drumkits out there. Although this is a short list, I have tried to include some of the best in terms of usability. These should make your home recording a little easier and keep the neighbors from wanting to get you evicted.

Just want to chime in and add another great drumkit to the list.
Spitfire has a percussion library for their free Labs series, which also has a modern acoustic drumkit that sounds better than their older drumkit library.
Only thing they are missing is the multi out function.
It's really worth a peak.
And gatta say, the comment section is full of bunch of whiney little mama boys crying about their favorite toys not being mentioned in the video.
Or complaining and whining that the video is not 100% tailor made to their own preferences.

I don't usually like to use midi for drums, I just like to put the samples into the DAW and edit them manually, but these look cool.
