The police are being way too nice to you. So something happened, police ask you nicely to stay so they can get information and you go on this "Am I being detained? Am I free to go?" trip, instead of sticking around for 10 minutes to clear things up. And then the police DO DETAIN you for 20 hours... Man you really showed them!

First I am American. I travel to Scotland quite a bit and must say this American is being so rude and loud. The Brits are being so patient and nice. I love Scotland and the people. Not all Americans behave like this clown.

These ladies are so polite. The suspect sounds like a whiney 5 year old. His aggression was completely unwarranted and enforces the " I know it because I'm an American " stereotype.
