I love how Marceline moved while floating and playing her bass. It’s exactly how I would imagine moving while playing guitar if I could float. Just like, twisting around shit.

It was THIS episode that leave the open door for us to explore their past relationship💔.
Before it i just used to think that they were just regular best-friends that had a Ugly fight and stopped talking to one another (back in "Go with me").
I LOVED how this Single song gave so much deep character Plot for two of the most inportant persons of the main cast😊.

I actually prefer some of the different expressions in the storyboards, it feels a lot more raw in emotions. A bit sad to see them get simplified, but nice to see the intention

It's weird how when I first heard this, I assumed that the words after "why do I want to" was supposed to be "kiss you" and then later on they end up together. It's only weird to me cuz this happens A LOT in my life, where I make an assumption and then go Naaaah but then I end up being right.

I rewatched this episode and this song so many times as a kid. Seeing the storyboards for the first time after all this time is actually kinda surreal. Just looking at those facial expressions in the boards brought back memories of the emotions from that scene.
