I got to work on Sonic the Hedgehog 2

I got to do some storyboarding work for the sequel live action Sonic the Hedgehog. Here is my overall storyboarding process for studio productions.

I’m not an animator- but have worked on films. The worst thing is spending 14-17 hour days on a scene that doesn’t make the cut.

This just made me realize that the part where sonic does his sonic adventure pose in the dance scene was probably boarded and put in there by a fan and that makes me super happy

i saw sonic 2 in theaters on opening weekend and was totally hyped the whole way through
this video is a really cool insight into part of that production process
now i'm figuring out storyboarding for some music video stuff i may be working on, so that video is helpful for that as well

I'm no professional, but I'm starting a storyboard project for a comic I want to make one day, and your break-down of the whole process really helps! Hopefully I'll be able to work more quickly and consistently now!
